CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
JAZZ
Dancers will work on clean lines, control, precision, technique, and musicality while developing performance quality and confidence. This class highlights traditional jazz foundations and theatrical presentation, making it ideal for dancers who love character, style, and storytelling through movement.
HIP HOP
A fun, energetic class exploring a variety of hip hop foundations and styles. Dancers will learn rhythm, groove, musical interpretation, coordination, and freestyle confidence while developing strength and performance presence. Classes encourage individuality and self-expression in a supportive environment.
LYRICAL / CONTEMPORARY
This combined class allows teacher to explore both lyrical and contemporary styles within the same lesson. While the two styles are distinct, dancers will develop fluidity, emotional connection, musicality, and control through expressive movement. Classes may vary week to week, giving dancers exposure to both technical lyrical foundations and contemporary freedom and creativity.
POM
A sharp, high-energy style inspired by the professional cheer and dance world, including what you see on major sporting stages. Pom focuses on strong arm placement, power, precision, formations, and dynamic performance.

For dancers unfamiliar with "Pro Cheer," this style can also be described as a more commercial, performance-driven jazz style with added strength, impact, and visual appeal.
MUSICAL THEATRE
A performance-based class focusing on dance and acting only (no singing). Dancers learn how to embody characters, project confidence, and tell stories through movement and facial expression. Musical Theatre helps build stage presence, theatricality, and expressive performance skills that translate across all dance styles.
TROUPE (INVITE ONLY)
Our competition teams are for committed dancers who demonstrate strong technique, work ethic, and performance ability. Troupe classes focus on choreography, teamwork, stage presence, and competition preparation.
Entry is by invitation only.
TROUPE TECHNIQUE (INVITE ONLY)
A specialised technical class for troupe dancers designed to support competition training. These classes focus on strength, flexibility, control, alignment, and execution to enhance overall performance quality and reduce injury risk.

ACRO PROGRAM
ABILITY-BASED PROGRAM
This is the first year Acro is offered as a standalone class at the studio. Unlike our other styles, Acro is based on ability rather than age (with the exception of Minis), allowing each dancer to train safely and effectively at the level best suited to them.

Acro blends classical dance technique with acrobatic skills such as balances, flexibility, strength, and controlled tumbling. Classes focus on proper progressions, safe technique, and body awareness to support long-term development and injury prevention.

To remove pressure around age or progression, dancers simply enrol in Acro on their registration form. Our teaching team will then assess each dancer and place them in the level they feel is most appropriate for the dancer's current ability.
ACRO LEVEL 1
BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE
Designed for dancers building their foundational acro skills.

This level focuses on strength development, flexibility, balance, and basic acrobatic elements such as rolls, bridges, handstands, and introductory tumbling. Emphasis is placed on correct technique, control, and confidence.
ACRO LEVEL 2
INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED
This Acro level is for dancers who have a strong acro foundation and are ready to progress. Classes work on more complex balances, transitions, and tumbling skills while continuing to build strength, flexibility, and control. Dancers refine technique and learn how to safely link skills into smooth acro sequences.
ACRO LEVEL 3
ADVANCED TO ELITE
This is an advanced training level for experienced acro dancers.

This class focuses on high-level acrobatic skills, strength conditioning, advanced flexibility, and performance-quality execution. Dancers are expected to demonstrate strong technique, body awareness, and commitment to safe progressions.
LEVEL PLACEMENT & PROGRESSION
-
Acro levels are not-age based
-
Placement is determined by teacher assessment
-
Progression occurs when a dancer demonstrates the strength, control, and technique required to safely move forward
This structure ensures every dancer is challenged appropriately while developing confidence, resilience, and technical excellence.
PRIVATE TUITION

These sessions are ideal for dancers working on solos, duos, or trios, allowing focused attention on technique, artistry, performance quality, and confidence. Private tuition supports dancers who want to refine specific skills, prepare for performances or competitions, or accelerate their progress with one-on-one or small group guidance.

Due to high demand, our private classes are currently fully booked. A waitlist is available for dancers wishing to be considered as spaces become available.
Our private classes offer personalised training tailored to each dancer’s individual goals and ability.
